Pretty Button Brooches

I have been totally inspired by the button colorway I got recently. I was also inspired to make some pretty accessories when I was in Chicago!!

Here they are. See them in my shop today!!

OK, I am back to sewing

Slowly but surely, I am revamping my etsy site. And it feels nice! I am also bringing a bunch of goodies into the Co-Op tomorrow. I am so happy that the Co-Op shoppers are really seeming to enjoy my items there. I usually stock baby booties, zipper pouches, yoga pants, tote bags, aprons, reusable washcloths/dusters, and a few other assorted items. I love how conscious the store is to the green movement--well they always have been.

If you haven't been there, please take a visit! It is in the Murdale Shopping Center in Carbondale, IL. Also, the Murdale Farmers Market will be in full swing every Saturday morning from 8-12noon. What a lovely time!!

Pink and Mint FLoral Garden Baby Booties and Stuffed Organic Play Cube

These fabrics I found at an amazing Quilt Shop called Peace and Applique in Rochester, IL. I had not been in there for many years, and since then they expanded into the building behind the original store. They have tons of designer fabrics, which are quite hard to find in this area. The back room features Urban Chick Vintage Repro fabrics in many prints that remind me of BABY!!
The store is worth the drive! It is about 20 minutes from Springfield too, not bad!
