I patchworked the beautiful batik cottons together. Then, I used my new found talent, free-motion sewing all over the layers of fabric. I thought they would make great glasses cases, so I made 3!!

OK, enough about everyone else...

So, I have a tendency to blog about everyone else, while I leave everyone in the dark about my very own creations sometimes. So, here is a what I have been up to lately. I have a SOLO Trunk Show at the Co-Op this Saturday, also Valentine's Day. I hope to get some good pictures of me at my table and the general setup. The area where I get to set up is so perfect it is just unreal. I have no idea what people are going to be interested in, but you never can tell from show to show what will do best. So I will wing it!! I have been making booties, zipper pouches, and some purses. I am also making Layla, the cool girl who I work with at the Co-Op something special, so I really hope she likes it! It is always nice to make more contacts locally. I am so super happy that I am able to be involved with the Co-Op community. I love it so much I just sometimes feel like giving my items away there! Maybe I will do a drawing this time...along with free Valentine's Day Chocolates I got the other day!! fun blogging brainstorming. Hope to see you there...

Now Available! Quilted Purse Handles/Straps for Your Own Sewing Projects!

While sewing last night, I came up with this idea. I love adding very special details to purses, making them better than the next gal's. So, I propose that you let me do the tough detailing work that takes a lot of time, and use my wonderful purse straps.handles on your own bags. I can make them in just about ANY COLOR TOO!! See them HERE!!
I use high quality, designer quality fabrics on the outsides, and sandwich fleece inside them. Then I quilt the straps for extra durability and strength.
Thanks for looking at my shop!
